The Android app’s privacy policy

Read the NoiseNote app privacy policy for diary storage, recordings, sharing, support and the advertising and purchase features being prepared for the rebuilt app.

The app policy distinguishes current test-build behaviour from planned features and the older published release.

Using this website

This is an information website. It has no visitor accounts, evidence upload, contact form, advertising scripts or analytics tags. Its pages do not set application cookies or use browser storage.

The site uses Google Firebase Hosting. Google processes incoming IP addresses to deliver and protect the hosting service; its Firebase documentation describes retaining Hosting IP data for a few months. See Firebase’s privacy information for details. This technical hosting information is separate from recordings and diary entries stored in your app.

Links and email

If you follow a link to Google Play, Google Sites, GOV.UK or another website, that destination’s privacy practices apply. If you email support, your email address and anything you choose to include are received through the email service. Please avoid sending sensitive recordings, reports or other people’s personal information in an initial support request.
